Protection does not replace preparation
Airbnb's Host Damage Protection can reimburse eligible damage, but hosts still need to file a request and support it with evidence. A messy folder of photos is not the same as a coherent claim packet.
What a packet should include
Include a timeline, before/after photos, cleaner notes, itemized costs, receipts or estimates, and concise claim text. The packet should make it easy for a reviewer to understand what happened and why the requested amount matches the evidence.
Turnfolio's V1 stance
Turnfolio does not auto-submit claims. It helps hosts prepare organized, host-reviewed evidence for the platform workflow they already use.
